What is DealerSocket?
DealerSocket is part of Solera and one of the largest dealer software vendors in North America. It covers CRM, inventory, websites and DMS for both franchise and independent dealers. The product is built for US workflows: vAuto-style inventory, US lender integrations, English-only support and US data residency. None of that translates to the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or wider European market.
DealerSocket strengths
- Mature US CRM & DMS suite
- Strong inventory and digital retail tools
- Deep integrations with US lenders and OEMs
DealerSocket limitations
- No Bilbasen / Finn / Blocket / Nettiauto distribution
- No Danish, Swedish or Norwegian sales contracts
- No used-car VAT or registration tax logic
- US data residency – complicates GDPR
- English-only support and documentation
- Enterprise sales cycle and consulting fees

Our verdict
DealerSocket is a serious choice if you operate in North America. In the Nordics and the rest of the EU you're importing a CRM that doesn't know your portals, your VAT schemes, your contract law or your language. CARRUSLiNK gives you the same modern CRM thinking, built for the market you actually sell in.
