CARRUSLiNK vs. VinSolutions
VinSolutions (Cox Automotive) is a strong CRM — but it's built for the US market, integrates with US portals and US DMS systems, and doesn't cover Danish sales-contract, VAT or service-contract logic. CARRUSLiNK is the Danish answer.
What is VinSolutions?
VinSolutions is part of Cox Automotive and one of the largest CRM platforms for US car dealers. It covers lead management, automated follow-ups, email/SMS templates and integration with vAuto, Autotrader and the major US DMS systems. Where CARRUSLiNK differs is market fit: we are built for Danish, independent dealers with Danish legislation, Bilbasen/AutoUncle integration, used-car VAT, sales contracts and Danish-language support.
VinSolutions strengths
- US market leader with a huge dealer footprint
- Strong automated follow-ups and communication workflows
- Deep integration with vAuto, Autotrader and US DMS systems
- Solid reporting and performance management
- Part of the Cox Automotive ecosystem
VinSolutions limitations
- Built for the US market — no Danish legislation or industry context
- No Bilbasen/AutoUncle integration or Danish portals
- No Danish sales contracts, rental agreements or test-drive sheets
- No Danish VAT schemes or registration tax
- No integration with Danish DMS systems (Autoflex, Autoit and similar)
- US cloud — challenging for GDPR/EU data residency
- English-language support and documentation
- Primarily franchise-focused — less suited for small independents

Our verdict
VinSolutions is a strong platform — in the US. For a Nordic dealer (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or Finnish) it makes no sense to import a CRM built for a different market: you're left with English support, US portals, no used-car VAT and no local sales contracts, registration tax, Bilbasen/Finn/Blocket distribution or workshop integration. CARRUSLiNK gives you the same modern CRM thinking — built for Nordic legislation, local portals and the day-to-day of a Nordic dealership.
