Synsbasen
Synsbasen is a Danish data provider that aggregates and exposes vehicle data from public sources, including DMR and inspection data, through an API. Dealers and software vendors use Synsbasen to look up cars by registration number or VIN and retrieve technical data, history and inspection results.
Synsbasen solves the access problem: registry data exists, but it is not readily usable inside a sales process. An API makes it so.
For a dealer that means one lookup can populate a listing, a sales contract and a workshop order with the same correct data.
Data quality still depends on the source. Synsbasen delivers what the registry holds, not what the salesperson hopes the car is.

CARRUSLiNK uses Synsbasen as the single entry point to DMR and inspection data, so vehicle data is fetched once rather than typed several times.
