Sales contract (slutseddel)
A slutseddel is the binding purchase agreement between a car dealer and a buyer. It states the vehicle, the price, any trade-in, financing, delivery date and add-ons such as a service agreement. Both parties sign it, and it documents the transaction towards the customer, the lender and the authorities.
The sales contract is what the entire deal hangs on. It gathers the vehicle identification (VIN and registration number), the agreed price, the VAT or margin-scheme treatment, the trade-in value, the financing method and the delivery date.
Traditionally it was printed, signed in the showroom and scanned. That costs time and makes follow-up hard: nobody knows how many contracts are sitting unsigned, or which add-ons were actually sold.
A digital contract with identity verification (MitID in Denmark) carries the same legal effect as a wet signature, but can be sent, signed and archived the same day, even when the customer is not in the showroom.
In CARRUSLiNK
In CARRUSLiNK the contract is created straight from the vehicle and the customer, signed digitally with MitID, and the service agreement sits on it as a default add-on.
