Test drive
A test drive is a scheduled drive where a prospective buyer tries a car before purchase. The dealer books a slot, verifies the driving licence, records a short-term loan agreement with insurance cover and follows up afterwards. The test drive is the single step with the largest effect on conversion.
Statistically, a completed test drive is the strongest purchase-intent signal in the whole sales process. Yet in many dealerships it is handled with a calendar entry and a photocopied licence.
That costs two things: cars get double-booked, and follow-up never happens. A customer who has driven the car and hears nothing within a day is effectively a lost lead.
A structured test-drive flow contains booking against actual stock, a digital loan agreement, damage documentation before and after, and an automatic follow-up a few hours after the drive.
In CARRUSLiNK
CARRUSLiNK books the test drive against the actual vehicle, creates the loan agreement digitally and triggers the follow-up automatically once the drive is closed.
