    Match latency

Match latency is the time from a car being registered in the system until the first match reaches a salesperson as an actionable task. The metric measures the flow's reaction time rather than the number of matches, and shows whether the customer base really works before external listing.

Define start and end points in writing before measuring: start at car registration, end when the task is visible to a named salesperson.

Match latency is an internal KPI. We do not publish industry averages without a documented method and a described data basis.

Latency is tied to the release deadline: a match arriving after the car has been listed externally competes with the dealership's own advertisement.

    In CARRUSLiNK

CARRUSLiNK triggers the match on car registration, so match latency does not depend on a salesperson remembering to search.
