Leasing CRM
A leasing CRM is a customer system where the leasing contract, not the sale, is the central object. It tracks term, residual value, mileage, expiry date and the return flow, and triggers customer contact well before the contract ends so the car can be re-leased or sold.
In leasing the money is not made on the single signature, but on the customer continuing. A contract that expires without anyone reaching out is a lost customer and a car that suddenly needs a buyer.
Dates are therefore the backbone. A leasing CRM works backwards from expiry: contact at 90, 60 and 30 days, an offer on a new car, a return appointment and a condition assessment.
The second requirement is mileage. Excess mileage is both revenue and a customer conflict, and it must be tracked continuously, not first discovered on handover day.
