Lead management
Lead management is the full process from an enquiry landing until it is either won or closed. It covers collection from every source, automatic assignment to a responsible salesperson, a reply within an agreed deadline, follow-up at fixed intervals, and measurement of conversion per source and per salesperson.
Lead management is often confused with an inbox. The difference is ownership and time: every lead has an owner, a deadline and a next action, and if the action does not happen it escalates.
Measurement is the other half. Without conversion figures per source you cannot decide whether a portal subscription pays for itself, and without figures per salesperson you cannot coach.
A realistic structure: all sources into one system, an automatic acknowledgement under five minutes, assignment by brand or rota, fixed follow-ups on day 1, 3 and 7, and a monthly report on source and salesperson.
In CARRUSLiNK
CARRUSLiNK puts an owner, a deadline and a next action on every lead, and shows conversion per source and per salesperson on the dashboard.
