Customer wish
A customer wish is a structured record of the car a customer is looking for: model, year, mileage cap, colour, equipment and price range. It lives on the customer record and is matched automatically against stock and incoming purchases, instead of sitting in a salesperson's memory or a note.
A no on the lot today is often a yes in three weeks, if the right car shows up. That requires the wish to be recorded somewhere that outlives both memory and a job change.
A customer wish differs from a regular lead by being specific: not 'wants an estate', but 'Passat, sunroof, under 120,000 km, 2019 or newer'. That precision is what makes automatic matching possible.
The wish only becomes valuable once it is actively matched, both against today's stock and against cars arriving tomorrow.
In CARRUSLiNK
CARRUSLiNK records the customer wish on the customer card and matches it automatically against stock and incoming purchases, with a visible 'matches 1 customer wish' on the vehicle card.
