Release deadline
A release deadline is the agreed period during which a car only works internally against the dealership's own customer base before it is released to listing portals. The deadline turns the sequence between owned and bought demand into a measurable decision rather than an accident of preparation and memory.
The deadline must be short enough not to delay the sale and long enough for a match to become a confirmed meeting. There is no industry answer we can document; set it and adjust it on your own data.
The deadline should be enforced automatically. If release depends on an employee remembering it, the period becomes random in practice.
A car with a confirmed meeting can be held beyond the deadline, but the exception must be visible and justified — otherwise unsold stock accumulates without external exposure.
In CARRUSLiNK
CARRUSLiNK makes release a flow: the car is matched internally and distribution to the portals is triggered on the deadline the dealership sets.
