The tyre hotel is aftersales' strongest retention product: the tyres physically sit at the workshop, and every change is a planned touchpoint to sell service, brakes or a new car.
Its value rests on two things: every set having a location findable in twenty seconds, and the reminder going out automatically before the season rather than when the phone starts ringing.
Tread depth measured at each change is also a sales signal. Below four millimetres means the customer should get a tyre quote at the next visit, not next year.
