How does vehicle-↔customer-match (wishlist) work?
Last updated:
TL;DR
Vehicle-↔customer-match is a wishlist feature where the customer describes their desired vehicle (make, model, year, price, mileage), and the system automatically notifies the salesperson when a matching vehicle enters inventory. The customer receives a notification immediately. The feature works for both used cars and leasing.
In practice, the salesperson creates the customer's wish on the customer record — for example, 'VW Golf, 2019–2022, under 80,000 km, under 180,000 kr'. When a vehicle matching these criteria is imported into inventory, the responsible salesperson receives a notification and the customer is automatically informed with the vehicle's details and a link to book a test drive.
For leasing, it works similarly: the customer has a desired model, and when a suitable vehicle becomes available, it is directly matched against the customer's contract expiry. The salesperson can then offer a new contract for that specific vehicle.
